Format Tournament
Number of players 4
Team or Individual play Team
  • In the bucket is played in teams of four. All players tee off and play their own balls, and the lowest score of the four is counted as the best score or team score. What makes in the bucket different from other best ball games is that once a player provides a score for the team, they become ineligible to provide the best score for the next three rounds as they get “eliminated” or are left “in the bucket” after each round. While they can still play, their score will just not be considered. After four rounds, when all four players are eliminated, they are eligible to provide the score again, and the process starts for a second time.
