- A barky or woody is a bet won by a player who makes par or less on a hole after hitting a tree.
- A set amount of money ($1, $2 etc.) is determined for the barkie. A double barkie doubles the bet and is won by making par after hitting two trees on the same hole. A triple barkie triples the bet and is earned when a player makes par, or better, after hitting three trees during the same hole.
